ICE is taking a minority stake in TradeXYZ to operate a proposed US-regulated 24/7 perpetual futures venue built on Hyperliquid, covering crypto plus stocks, indices, commodities and FX, with access via regulated intermediaries with KYC/AML, subject to CFTC and other approvals and no launch date yet, as reported by @DefiantNews and @DeepTapeNews.
TradeXYZ says its Hyperliquid markets have processed over $650B in cumulative volume, Stanley Druckenmiller confirmed he is an investor in TradeXYZ, and Elon Musk replied “Interesting,” which amplified the headline, per @13_niakris.
HYPE repriced fast on Oct 29. Posts put the first spike at 8-9% off the tape (@TheVictorBuilds), then about 15% with an intraday high near $94-$96.7, and exchanges quoted about $90.8 on Oct 30 with +13.2% in 24h on Binance spot and similar on OKX, MEXC, Gate, KuCoin and Kraken.
The venue has not launched. The market is pricing what regulated US perps on Hyperliquid could unlock, not live flows. The test is approvals, timing and scale.
