Yes. Stellar is now a default network in MetaMask Mobile and Extension, announced Oct 29 at Meridian 2026 in Lisbon.
Eligible existing accounts automatically get a Stellar address in their multichain account with no separate setup, derived from the recovery phrase they already have, and can hold, send and swap stellar:native and other Stellar and Soroban tokens alongside other networks. New users get one on download.
Activation onchain follows Stellar rules: a new Stellar address becomes active once it receives at least 1 XLM, per DefiantNews, BSCNews and the Stellar press release.
Confirmed by @StellarOrg and @MetaMask. XLM quoted around $0.1614 on Binance spot at 2026-10-30T01:10 UTC, down about 5.7% in 24h.
