Strategy ($MSTR) shareholders approved the Daily Dividends amendment at the Oct. 28 special meeting, with preliminary results showing 99.3% of votes cast in favor, as Michael Saylor posted.

The amendment covers the four preferreds, 10.00% STRF, Variable Rate STRC, 8.00% STRK and 10.00% STRD, allowing them to accrue dividends every calendar day, per the same post and Strategy's Oct. 28 8-K.

Under the new cadence every calendar day is a record date, with payment on the next business day. For STRC the first record and payment dates are Nov. 1 and Nov. 2; for STRF, STRK and STRD they are Jan. 1 and Jan. 4, Saylor added.

For DTC-cleared shares a weekend or holiday record date rolls to the prior DTC business day and Nasdaq treats that as the ex-date. The filing's example: Nov. 6-8 (Fri-Sun) all record Nov. 6 and pay together Nov. 9; due to T+1, a buyer Friday Nov. 6 gets none of the three, a seller Friday gets all three. Treatment off DTC or Nasdaq and at individual brokers can differ.
