Subject: Sushi's "HYPE on Robinhood Chain" launch, and whether the claim holds
Conclusion
The claim is mostly accurate but needs one qualifier. A token called "Bridged HYPE" (symbol HYPE, 18 decimals) exists on Robinhood Chain, trades on Sushi, and has a Sushi pool with about $192K of liquidity. It is a LayerZero-bridged representation of HYPE, not a native Hyperliquid deployment. I found no sign that Hyperliquid itself announced or endorsed it.
What was announced
Sushi's post (Oct 8, 2026, 18:20 UTC) says HYPE is live on Robinhood Chain "in partnership with @LayerZero_Core".
LayerZero's post says Sushi is using LayerZero's OFT standard to onboard assets to Robinhood Chain, "beginning with $HYPE".
Sushi's thread says users bridge HYPE over via LayerZero and then use it on Sushi.
The thread also says launchers on Sushi Launch can pair new tokens with HYPE.
The only official contract address Sushi names is 0xd6Ad…4856. Sushi describes this as its "first move" in bringing major assets to the chain "one by one".
What the chain data shows
The contract at 0xd6Ad…4856 reads as symbol HYPE with 18 decimals. Its name is "Bridged HYPE", and Arkham tags it to SushiSwap.
Sushi's main pool is HYPE/USDG on Sushi v3. It holds about $191.6K of liquidity, against Sushi's stated $200K seed.
The same pool shows a price of about $83.41 and 24h volume of about $408K. It recorded 1,750 buys and 1,385 sells over 24h, so trading is real.
Sushi's v3 pools pair HYPE with several small Sushi Launch tokens (HYPERS, HYPURR, EGG, MAX, SPERM). That matches the "pair with HYPE" feature.
DexScreener shows smaller HYPE/USDG pools on Alandale (about $1.3K liquidity) and Uniswap v4 (about $410). Liquidity outside Sushi is thin.
DexScreener's FDV of about $215K, which is roughly 2.6K HYPE at $83, covers only the bridged supply on this chain. It says nothing about Hyperliquid's real market cap.
Where the claim is weaker
I could not read the contract's total supply, owner, or LayerZero endpoint and peer settings. That the token is a LayerZero OFT therefore rests on the LayerZero post, not on my own contract check.
"For the first time" is unverified. Other pools for the same contract exist, though they are small.
No Hyperliquid account or Hyperliquid Foundation statement turned up. The only third-party reaction I found is a fan post. The token is a Sushi and LayerZero product.
Anyone holding it relies on the bridge's security and on Sushi's configuration. I found no on-chain evidence on either.
What to do next
Before buying, confirm the address against Sushi's post, since Sushi says it is the only official one.
Check the LayerZero peer and delegate settings, and the total supply, on the Robinhood Chain explorer.
Check the Hyperliquid side for a locked or adapter contract that backs the bridged supply.
Note that on-chain liquidity is about $190K, so large trades will move the price.
