Bitcoin ended the third quarter of 2026 up about 42.6%, the best Q3 since 2017

The rally recovered the losses of the first half of the year, when $BTC fell in both the first and second quarters. According to Glassnode, the rise came mainly on spot, and in September about $2.65 billion flowed into spot ETFs. But CryptoQuant warns that without new spot demand the rebound may prove unstable, and on September 30 the ETFs already showed an outflow.
