BNB Chain says its Jenner hard fork is now live on BSC testnet, as announced on Oct 29.

The upgrade adds a Payment Lane reserving 5% of block gas by default for eligible payments, millisecond block timestamps for smart contracts, and functionality for CAS20, a new Compliant Asset Standard.

BNB Chain's blog post says the default reservation is 5%, with a protocol maximum of 10%, and unused reserved gas stays idle rather than being reassigned to general traffic. Fees still apply and inclusion in a specific block is not guaranteed.

Payment Lane and CAS20 still need to go through governance before being fully enabled.
