Hanwha Investment & Securities, the Korean securities affiliate of Fortune Global 500 Hanwha, entered a strategic partnership with Chainlink to power its global RWA tokenization platform, announced by Chainlink on Oct 30.

As part of it Hanwha is adopting the Chainlink data standard and CCIP as the official data and interoperability infrastructure, to tokenize, connect across public and private chains, and use tokenized assets as collateral, per the Chainlink press release dated Oct 29, 2026.

Hanwha, via its Seoul and Abu Dhabi digital asset business, says its goal is to tokenize quality assets clients found hard to access and open issuance, distribution and collateral use across Korea, Asia and global markets, with the two firms to work on valuation and collateral usage criteria, per Chief Digital Officer Insung An in the release. Chainlink Labs CBO Johann Eid calls Hanwha a key global strategic partner and says Chainlink supports it with dedicated resources and network connections.

LINK quotes about $11.117 on Binance spot, down about 4.2% in 24h at this snapshot. The drop sits in the overnight Binance hack selloff, where Lookonchain said the hacker dumped 2.57M LINK for $26.05M, so the partnership news has not offset that pressure yet.
