Blur and approvals

Blur is not shutting down its on-chain marketplace: its official announcement says only the blur.io frontend will be deprecated on November 12, 2026, while the protocol remains operational and $BLUR retains control of its fee switch (Blur announcement). Blend will also stop matching new loans on that date; borrowers should review their open loans and act before the cutoff (details).

Should you revoke? Yes, revoke Blur approvals you no longer need. Security researcher 0xQuit says he found no current exploit, but says Blur contracts are upgradeable and recommends removing open approvals; Beau of Pudgy Penguins also recommends revoking approvals to Blur and its products (0xQuit, Beau). The frontend closing does not itself cancel on-chain approvals. Check the wallet and networks you used, and revoke the specific approvals you no longer need through Revoke.cash. Revoke.cash says disconnecting a wallet does not revoke approvals (FAQ).
