NEAR announced that Robinhood Chain is live in near.com, where users can swap ETH and USDG for assets across 30+ chains, and deposit, withdraw, or pay to and from Robinhood Chain without navigating a separate bridge interface. NEAR Protocol’s launch post says the swaps use NEAR Intents; The Defiant reports that competing market makers execute the swap while bridge infrastructure moves assets between networks.
At launch, NEAR Intents also named ETH, USDG, PONS, and CASHCAT as Robinhood Chain assets, with more to follow, and said assets and deposits/withdrawals are confidential by default. NEAR Intents’ post and the near.com description describe confidentiality as protecting balances and financial activity, with control over what to reveal. The public launch material does not specify the technical mechanism or exactly which on-chain details are concealed.
