Chainlink Data Feeds and Data Streams going live on Stellar means Stellar smart-contract developers can use Chainlink market data in applications such as lending, perps, stablecoins, and tokenized equities. Stellar says its network already has more than $4B in real-world assets and committed capital through Chainlink Scale to make oracle access more cost-efficient for builders (Stellar announcement; Chainlink post).
Data Feeds publish aggregated data onchain, useful for protocols that need to read prices or other values when valuing collateral and settling positions. Data Streams provide signed, low-latency reports that an application can verify onchain in the transaction, suited to more time-sensitive markets (Data Feeds docs; Data Streams docs).
In practical terms, this gives Stellar builders oracle infrastructure to build those products; it does not itself launch a lending market or tokenized-equity app. The announcement does not name specific feed pairs, deployed applications, or the size of the Scale commitment.
