Trade[XYZ] said it is joining forces with ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States, in its post.
The plan is a new dedicated U.S. market with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid, covering equities, indices, commodities, FX and crypto, via brokers and platforms, subject to CFTC approval. ICE is also making a strategic investment in Trade[XYZ], with Stan Druckenmiller named as joining.
Trade[XYZ] said its existing Hyperliquid HIP-3 markets topped $650 billion in volume in just over a year. WatcherGuru and Cointelegraph reported the news on Oct. 29, with other posts citing Bloomberg as the source and noting separate clearing, KYC and AML pending approval.
HYPE traded around $85.28 on Binance spot at the time of the reports, up about 3.9% in 24h, per exchange quotes. Some X posts claimed a 3-5% pop in minutes, which is attributed reporting, not verified trades.
