Uniswap launched Aggregator Hooks on Oct. 22, 2026 on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain, live in the web app and API. Each hook wraps an external liquidity source as a Uniswap v4 pool, so any router sees it as a Uniswap pool. Every block the router pulls fresh quotes and builds one single-transaction route across Uniswap pools and outside sources, with nothing new to approve, according to Uniswap's announcement.

Swaps routed through outside sources pay Uniswap protocol fees that contribute to UNI burn, letting Uniswap earn from volume that physically sits elsewhere. Founder Hayden Adams says there is zero margin added to native Uniswap liquidity and just a couple basis points of UNI protocol fees for routes to external sources.

Uniswap says seven sources at launch cover more than 90% of DEX activity on those chains, but it does not name the seven or give a measurement period, as Defiprime notes. The supplied material names Curve, Fluid and PancakeSwap as three of them, and flags that four sources are undisclosed.
