Bloomberg Law reported on Oct. 29 that Intercontinental Exchange, the NYSE owner, is taking a stake in trade.xyz to build a US-regulated perpetual futures market on Hyperliquid rails.

The plan is a new venue with its own clearing, KYC and AML, offering perps tied to equities, equity indexes, commodities and currencies, pending regulatory approval. Terms of the stake were not disclosed. Trade.xyz executives were cited as the source.

The headline was first flashed by TreeNewsFeed at 10:33 UTC, then widely reposted as a Bloomberg story. No ICE, Hyperliquid or trade.xyz official post has yet confirmed launch date, products or approval status.

HYPE is quoted around $87.33 on Binance spot, up about 7% on the day, per exchange quotes. Telegram forwards claim about 8% upside on the news, which I treat as claimed reaction rather than verified trades.
