Bitcoin broke $86,000 overnight into October 2 and now trades around $86,500, up 3.5% per day
Bitcoin ($BTC)
The breakout came after several failed attempts to take $85,000. The rise was supported by easing expectations for the Fed rate and a raised forecast from Citi. Today the US employment report comes out, and it could quickly move the price in either direction. Above $86,000, analysts expect sellers stuck at these levels.
