NEAR Business is a confidential, self-custodial multisig treasury for crypto teams; it supports payroll, payments, swaps and capital allocation across 35+ chains, subject to team signer approvals (NEAR Protocol, product site).
The site says teams pay no subscription, swaps carry a 0.35% fee, and the first 1,000 monthly actions have sponsored gas; access is invite-only (pricing and access).
CoinGecko noted the $5.20 reclaim at 07:33 UTC on Oct 21, but the price action shows a wider rebound: NEAR fell to about $4.63 on Oct 20, then climbed above $5.20, with the Solana USDC pool up about 9% over 24 hours by the morning of Oct 21 (CoinGecko).
At the same time, the broader market was mixed across providers, while major exchange quotes placed NEAR near $5.23 with roughly 9.3% to 9.5% 24-hour gains. Large Solana pool trades included buys of about $18.2K and $18.9K early Oct 21, consistent with buying pressure but not proof of the move’s cause.
The launch preceded the rebound, and coverage of it spread the next morning; the available evidence does not show that NEAR Business alone drove the rally. «NEAR Business · NEAR launch post · CoinGecko price post»
