Arf is bringing settlement liquidity to the XRP Ledger, in partnership with Ripple.

It means RLUSD-powered short-term working capital for licensed cross-border payment firms, deployed and repaid as payments settle, instead of capital sitting tied up across markets. That is the use case described by Arf and Ripple today, Oct. 22, 2026.

Arf says it has scaled to around $10B in annual settlement volume, with capital turning over four times a month, a figure also cited by CoinDesk.

This is the first phase of a broader initiative, with deeper integration planned as XRPL native lending infrastructure comes online.

That infrastructure is XLS-65 Single Asset Vault and XLS-66 Lending Protocol, the on-ledger credit layer for vault deposits and fixed-term loans, as explained in community breakdowns like Vet_X0. Validator voting was still underway this week, so no live on-chain launch date is named in these sources.

For XRP, XRPL and RLUSD the claimed effect is more real-world settlement flow on XRPL, more XRP for fees and liquidity bridging, and more RLUSD utility as settlement asset. Those are author claims, not verified trades.
