POPA ReconStrive (Nasdaq: ASST) reported buying 6,182 BTC for about $511.4 million last week, at an average of about $82,732 per BTC, BitcoinMagazine.
That lifted total holdings to 43,000 BTC, per Cointelegraph. Posts call it Strive's largest purchase to date and put it near No. 2 among public corporate holders.
The buys were largely funded by its SATS preferred IPO, with cash and securities up to about $554.6M and a new up to $1B SATS ATM program for more BTC buys.
BTC itself was quoted around $79,763 on Binance spot at the time of the reports, down about 0.7% on the day.
