Bitwise's 2027 Bitcoin Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions report, published Oct. 28, 2026, sets a base case of $1.6 million by 2036, up from its prior $1.3 million target.
That implies about 34.3% annualized growth over the decade, from around $80,000 today, according to RCEalerts and Bitwise.
Bitwise cites rising institutional demand, with potential $1.5 trillion to $7.4 trillion in allocations, plus limited new supply with about 95.7% already in circulation, and growing demand for hard assets on fiat debasement fears, according to FuturesWire and Cointelegraph.
It also expects volatility to fall to 27.8% as adoption deepens, and puts a bullish scenario at $3.7 million, according to Cyrus.
