Early onchain tallies put the suspected Binance hot wallet drain at over $5.5B to a new address funded via Tornado Cash, in posts like jacqmelinek and MOSSADil. Spanish coverage cited about $3.3B and 60+ Ethereum tokens in early reports (NicoCabrera92).
Binance now estimates the impact at around $6.3B and says about $3B is frozen on-chain so far (Binance estimate, Binance frozen total).
CZ said "it does look like a hack on Binance" and that user funds are safe, while Binance said it is actively investigating a potential security issue with user funds completely safe.
Tether froze over 1.567B USDT tied to the incident and Circle froze over 800M USDC in coordination with law enforcement, together over $2.38B.
If the estimate holds it would be the largest crypto hack on record, almost four times the ~$1.5B Bybit hack, with one breakdown cited as $1.45B BTC, $875M ETH, $1.57B USDT and $823M USDC (GujilRuipa).
