Tether and industry collaborators launched the FASE Foundation today, Oct. 28, 2026, as announced by Tether with details in its press release.
FASE stands for Financial Access and Systemic Empowerment. It is a Swiss not-for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established by Tether, headquartered in Switzerland, according to the release and fasefoundation.com.
Founding stakeholders named are Anchorage Digital, Bitfury, Bybit, Chainalysis, Fasanara Capital, Kraken, Opera, Pave Bank, Prosper Global (formerly Mercy Corps), Solana Foundation, and Tether. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will serve as strategic partner.
Its four pillars are financial safety, financial freedom and inclusion, access to essential resources, and responsible AI and robotics. First programs aim to cover youth cybercrime prevention, support for human trafficking survivors, and a stablecoin aid pilot in vulnerable communities, as Cointelegraph summarized. Tether added it is a founding member via @FASEFoundation.
