Autheo’s THEO suffered a sharp collapse after unusual minting and sales. PeckShield reported 19 million THEO sold for 700.8 ETH, but later on-chain analysis identified three mints totaling 219 million THEO across Base and Robinhood Chain; the 700.8 ETH figure was the seller’s balance, including ETH held beforehand. The Defiant reported a 92.4% 24-hour fall in Hydrex’s Base pool. PeckShield · The Defiant · analysis and mint transaction

The suspected route began on Autheo’s Cosmos side: a public investigator alleges IBC activity and a minter event created native THEO, then Hyperlane carried synthetic tokens to Base and Robinhood Chain. That mechanism has not been confirmed by Autheo. The confirmed Base transaction shows a 100 million THEO mint from the zero address to the seller. Base mint transaction · investigator’s account

Autheo’s latest located notice, posted October 12, says it is investigating and instructs users not to buy, sell, or bridge THEO until an official all-clear; it also says to avoid suspicious links and recovery offers, never share seed phrases or private keys, and rely on its official channels.
