Solflare said on Oct 27 its staking provider had a security incident affecting the keys it holds for the Solflare validator, so the validator is currently not producing rewards (post).

About 1.56 million SOL is staked with the node, per The Defiant.

Solflare says no user funds were touched. Delegated SOL sits in users own stake accounts controlled by their keys, and the Solana protocol does not let a validator move it (post).

Migration plan: move to a new Solflare validator via an upcoming app update with a guided in-app path. No action now, rewards stay paused until stake is active on the new validator, and compensation is planned for everyone who migrates. Migration only through the Solflare app, never via DM or link.

SOL quoted around $101.6 on Binance spot at 02:27 UTC Oct 28, up about 1.1% on 24h.
