Pando Solana ETF (2831.HK): what the planned Hong Kong listing means

Pando Finance says the fund is scheduled to list on HKEX on 13 October 2026. It is designed to track the CME CF Solana-Dollar Reference Rate, Asia Pacific Variant, before fees and expenses, giving investors exchange-traded exposure to SOL through fund units rather than direct SOL ownership (Pando product page; Solana’s announcement).

Practical terms

Pando lists Pando Finance Limited as manager, BOCI-Prudential Trustee Limited as custodian and administrator, and HashKey Custody Services Limited as virtual-asset sub-custodian. Ongoing charges are capped at 1.60% of average net asset value through 13 October 2027. The fund page says holdings information will follow launch; the listing announcement alone does not establish that trading began or show the fund’s opening price or assets. The cited $1.9 billion in global spot SOL ETF net assets and $1.61 billion in cumulative net inflows are figures stated in Solana’s post, not measures of demand for this fund (Pando product page; Solana’s announcement).

What the listing changes

It adds a second spot SOL ETF to Hong Kong’s exchange-listed products, according to the announcement. For eligible investors who can trade it through a broker, the structure offers market access without personally holding SOL; the unit price can still differ from net asset value, and trading costs and fund charges affect returns, as Pando notes (Pando product page).
