Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino says Tether froze more than 1.567B USDT. Early reports cited about $971M, then about $2.54B total frozen, now around $3B total frozen, including over 800M USDC by Circle plus Ripple, WLFI and Arbitrum freezes.

Binance says user funds are safe and all losses will be covered from SAFU and company funds. Deposits are normal, withdrawals remain paused pending a withdrawal service revamp expected within 48 hours.
