Securitize Stocks: what it is, how it works and who is involved
Securitize launched Securitize Stocks on 8 October 2026: tokenized US equities on Solana, each backed 1:1 by a real share, for eligible investors in the US, EU and other permitted jurisdictions. The launch has 12 names. Trading starts on Securitize's registered broker-dealer platform. Securitize's launch article is the primary source.
What the token is
Each token is a security entitlement under UCC Article 8, backed one for one by an underlying share. It carries dividends and, where the share class has them, voting rights. Securitize says the backing shares will not be lent out. It also says the tokens are not price-tracking products. They use a convertible entitlement token (CET) structure. When an issuer adopts issuer-sponsored tokenization, holders can convert their entitlements into shares on the issuer's register, through Securitize's transfer-agent partnerships. Securitize article

Trading and venues
The first venue is Securitize's broker-dealer platform on Solana. CoinDesk reports that trading starts in extended market hours, with 24/7 access planned.
The tokens are expected on the NYSE's new 24/7 digital venue. This depends on the venue launching and on regulatory and operational requirements.
The tokens are also expected on the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue. It is a joint venture of OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the NYSE. CoinDesk notes the venture filed this week under the SEC's framework.
Aggregator and Telegram summaries say settlement is in USDC. The sources I could read do not confirm this in Securitize's own text.
Partners
Solana: the launch network. Nick Ducoff of the Solana Foundation is quoted by CoinDesk on the access this gives investors worldwide.
Aave: named in the Securitize article as an example of the lending and collateral markets the tokens are designed to support over time.
Jump Trading: an aggregator summary and Russian-language Telegram news channels say it provides liquidity and market making. The Securitize text I could read does not name it.
Ripple Prime: the same aggregator says Ripple Prime and Aave plan to bring the tokens into institutional trading and DeFi collateral. This is a plan, and I could not check it against Securitize's own text.
Related context
Securitize trades under the ticker SECZ. Perpetuals were quoted at about 11.0 USDT on OKX and Gate on 8 October. Gate showed -5.4% over 24 hours. Binance also listed a SECZB bStocks token for Securitize Corp on 7 October. That token is a Binance product and is not part of Securitize Stocks.
What the sources do not establish
The full terms of the Jump Trading and Ripple Prime roles, the on-chain token addresses, and the exact start date for 24/7 trading are not stated in the readable sources. The NYSE and OKXICE listings have no dates.
