Standard Chartered has launched a tokenized bank deposits solution in Hong Kong under the HKMA’s Project Ensemble. It is intended to provide programmable commercial cash and round-the-clock interbank clearing using real-time central bank digital currency. China AMC, Finloop and Panther Trade are named as early participants settling tokenized money market funds on the platform; Fireblocks and HashKey Group provide digital custody, according to BSCNews.
