Datavault AI (NASDAQ: $DVLT) said in an Oct. 26 8-K that 817.6 Bitcoin tied to its Scilex deal remains stuck on Biconomy. The deal was $150 million payable in Bitcoin at $112,915.52, or about 1,328.43 BTC; Scilex credited 1,309.04 BTC off-chain to Datavault's Biconomy wallet in Sept. and Nov. 2025 after 19.39 BTC in cash advances, then Datavault sold 491.43 BTC back to Scilex off-chain for about $40.5 million, leaving about 817.6 BTC credited on Biconomy's books (filing).

In June 2026 it asked to withdraw to an external wallet and as of the filing still could not complete it. It now says that BTC never met the test to count as its own digital asset, so it will book a subscription receivable instead, withdraw reliance on four periods (Q3 and full-year 2025, Q1 and Q2 2026), cut estimated total assets by $92.2 million at end-2025 and $49 million at June 2026, and redo its going-concern review.

The stock reaction reported overnight was about a 50% crash, cited at -49.55% to around $0.067, after Jameson Lopp flagged four months of failed transfer requests (post) and BitcoinArchive flagged the 817.6 BTC figure (post). The company itself warned of Nasdaq listing, financing, Biconomy cooperation and Scilex collection risks.

The $135M vs $150M gap is just valuation timing: $150M was the deal price in BTC, about $135M is the later market value commenters put on the stuck coins, not a second deal.
